Dear friends.  Welcome to my blog!! This blog is to explain to my friends back home how do I feel and what I do in my exchange in Vienna, To those of you that have left our city to continue your studies at home…. is another way to stay in contact (I really miss you!! :_( ).

The first post done in this blog (in Catalan) was to explain the ones at CAT (Catalonia) why I was doing this and how would it work. In small words, the blog will be bilingual (Catalan and English) but I am considering to post also in Spanish for those of you that are studying this language The Catalan part (and maybe the Spanish one) will be writen in normal letters; the English one in Italincs.

In order to let CAT friends know my feeling at the end of the first semester, now I’ll post one of the e-mails I sent to some of you. It will be the only one that I will post but today is to late and tom I have to wake up early to go and watch “The children’s choir”. (I know you are so jealous… ) so I don’t have enoght energy to write. I’ll do a “copy-paste”

” I can’t sleep tonight… I’ve been surfing on some of the new groups on Facebook about Vienna and the exchange. There are several of them for this new semester. I’ve seen the excitement of new people…
 
I went to Vienna ALONE to live a new experience, to learn about anything, to try to fine what I’d like of the life and what i’d like to do with MY life. Before arriving at OUR city I was thinking in an individual way; planing trips, places to see, ideas to think of… I did nothing of this when I arrived there coz I found some people I felt very comfortable with. They gave me their friendship, warmth, affection,  lots of hours of laughs, lots of great dinners with better conversation and above all, the best moments ever.
 
I was always letting people take the decision of what to do and where to go coz I had another semester to do all the rest. I just wanted to be with all of those who I really care.
 
My idea these days of the new semester is to do all those things that I wanted to do and reflect on all that stuff… People tell me that I souldn’t block the opportunity of meeting new people… I have lived the crazy Erasmus life ones! I don’t need another one! And above all I don’t want to care more people that four months later will leave. I’ll take advantage that I’m far from home and I can take lot of time to pause. We’ll see if it works.

Estimats amics. M’és molt difícil explicar-vos què ha estat aquest primer semestre amb aquells que ja sabeu. Aquest ha estat un petit “avocament de sentiments”. Perdoneu si és massa sentimental. Un petonet de bona nit!

There is no combinationa of words

I could put at the back of a postcard.

Per fi começo a escriure. Feia dies que m’havia registrat però em feia cosa escriure. Jo no tinc res interessant ni important a escriure!  

La Lulu fa mesos que em deia que havia d’escriure en un blog i explicar la meva vida a Viena. Ella n’escriu un i així plasma els seus pensaments i inquietuds. En Gerald (aquell estimat amic que vaig fer durant el primer semestre) , també escriu un blog. Ell l’escrivia per expressar tot allò que estava vivint a l’Erasmus. Ara, és més per què els que estem lluny ens assaventem de com li va la vida.  

Avui he anat a parar a un blog que m’ha fet pensar: “I perquè tu no?”  Aquest blog no té la finalitat de ser millor que cap altre, ni la de donar lliçons de res. Ho dic perque coneixent el caràcter que tinc, poc però una mica em conec, alguns cops ho podrà semblar. La idea simplement és comunicar-me amb l’exterior. Segurament li donaré molt èmfasi al fet d’estar d’Erasmus. Allò que m’aporta com a persona i, està clar també, la diversió viscuda.  

Un altre punt a explicar és el biligüisme del blog. En principi m’agraderia poder-me expressar en anglès també, perquè el blog pugui ser llegit pels meus amics no catalans. Serà un sobre-esforç que, a part d’ajudar-me a millorar l’idioma, em mantidrà més lligada a aquella colla. La part anglesa serà escrita en cursiva i així la gent pot anar triant els trossos a llegir. 

Sempre que algú tingui algun problema o alguna recomenació demano que m’ho faci saber.  Així es millora.
